Christopher Elam has a broad corporate and transactional practice focusing on the business needs of companies and individuals. He has represented countless businesses ranging from entrepreneurs to multinational corporations, in a wide spectrum of industries, including telecommunications, manufacturing, marketing, and healthcare.
Aside from routine contract negotiation and drafting, Christopher has extensive experience in corporate governance, risk management, advertising, business and real estate transactions, regulatory compliance, as well as mergers and acquisitions. He routinely assists clients with intellectual property matters and manages Farrow-Gillespie Heath Wilmoth’s portfolio of its clients’ registered trademarks. Prior to joining the firm, he counseled owners and members of the Board of Directors of an approximately billion-dollar direct selling company.

Christopher graduated with high honors from the SMU Dedman School of Law in 2010, where he was an editor of the International Law Review. He received his Bachelor of Arts in the honors English program from the University of Texas at Austin. In his spare time, Christopher is an avid painter and particularly enjoys experimenting in digital, electronic, and other emerging media.
